Abstract: Nowadays, the widely used internet technology and the reduction of the price of the computer hardware, the average computer system is possible to deliver multimedia data. Combined the use of the Internet and the capabilities in computer; computers can exchange multimedia data in the real world. Therefore this project aims to provide a convenient environment for communication in home computer users to perform broadcast and unicast TCP text chat and unicast UDP video/ audio chat over RTP. This program is functional, stable, user-friendly and user-friendly. The final system developed in the client/ server architecture, and is implemented using Java programming language. The services provided by the system include text, audio/ video chat; file transfer and sharing, shared whiteboard, media player over the Internet.
