| Abstract: | Buffer plays an important role in data transmission. It is necessary for the buffer to help the whole system adapt to changes during transmission. This project is an industrial project. The target is to design a buffer model and implement it with “C” program. The buffer program was tested with different video input, different buffer sizes, different other parameters. Finally, statistic values obtained were used to analyse the model. After some tests and adjustments, it is found that the buffer model functions successfully. A decoded video which is identical to the encoded one can be built by the program. The statistic files also show the rate control constraints are functioning. The buffer model development for ASTRI is success. |
