| Abstract: | As new technology is developed, and hardware gets cheaper, computer networks get more
and more widespread and more applications are being developed. Networking brings a whole
new area of complexity into application design. Within today’s online Internet Society, Voice
over IP (VoIP) communication is widely used and this project involves the development of a
VoIP application by using a new technology – Universal Plug and Play (UPnP).
UPnP technology has the potential to change the way we live and work forever. This project
takes the advantage of UPnP to build easy connectivity into VoIP application which can
communicate with the Cisco IP phone network. |
