| Abstract: | The project presents how to construct a 3D model by an active vision system. It is divided into two parts, which are software and hardware. In the software part, calibration and rectification will be demonstrated by two images. After that, feature points will be found out; these points will be used to produce the disparity map. The disparity map will be then used to deduce the 3D model of the example. There are two hardwares in the project, which are the pan tilt unit and the camera. They are controlled by the serial port of the computer. The driver of them is done by Visual Basic programming. |
