Abstract: | The main objective of my project is to simulate a cloth model that is being placed on irregular shaped objects and can interact with moving objects. This project follows the previous project entitled "Modelling and Animation of Cloth". For this project, I have studied some conference papers, journal papers and books on the simulation of cloth model. After the literature search, I started to implement the simulation with a plug-in in 3D Studio Max 5. The plug-in uses using Visual C++ to implement. The method uses in the simulation is based on calculating the change of velocities of particles of cloth to estimate the next position in geometric space. Also, the collision detection prevents the intersection of the cloth and the object. |
