Signal processing is an abstract concept which is difficult to understand through simple text and picture. To develop a multimedia tool for learning, student can learn more easily through animation and interactive ways, such as arbitrary input of signals, and a step by step output display. In this project, a software tool "SPL tool" have been designed and implemented to provide a platform to students. This software is a package containing different kinds of media for learning. Teachers can use the tool to assist their teaching through animations. Students are also able to use the interactive application within the tool to clarify what they have learned.en_US
