This project tries to improve the Chaotic Encryption Algorithms for widely public use. It aims to make improvement in three aspects: (1) the level of security, (2) the speed and (3) the cipher size of the proposed algorithms. The chaotic properties combined with the famous encryption method (DES) and the size of cipher texts is reduced to only one and a half times of the size of plaintext. The result of the combination is good as the speed and the size of ciphers are satisfactory. The vulnerabilities of DES were decreased by the algorithm and the security level was raised.en_US
