| Abstract: | In order to support real-time video, audio and data communication among heterogeneous third generation (3G) handsets, 3G phones/terminals are required to support 3G-324M, the multimedia transmission protocol for 3G communication. This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of 3G-324M, especially H.245 the control protocol of 3G-324M, also introduces some applications and systems, such as 3G-324M protocol analyzer and a videoconferencing system, which are built based on this protocol, and proposes a basic heterogeneous networking strategy. |
