Abstract: In this project, a low-cost and small-sized system was developed for remotely monitoring and controlling a number of electric devices connected to the system through a web browser. The whole system was composed of two main parts, the web server and the local operating network (LON). All electric devices for monitoring and controlling were connected to the LON while the web server was between the user and the LON. The web server was responsible for connecting the system to the Internet and letting the user to access the LON remotely through a web browser.
