Abstract: | The Asynchronous JavaScript and XML’s Blog (Ajax Blog) makes use of a second-generation of Internet-based services (Web 2.0) designed for primary level education to improve students writing skill. Ajax Blog combines latest Internet technology - Ajax and Newly e-business – Blog’s features. Using Ajax technology can increase the web page's interactivity, speed, and usability. And now Ajax can be widely used on most common browsers, it should be a cost effectiveness solution for building a Rich Internet Application (RIA). Blog is well knowledge sharing platform and popular software – people would keep a running account of their personal lives and their knowledge. Modern Blog system is highly extendibility and can be designed to integrate with different software such as social networking and photo sharing to rise up the functionalities. Ajax Blog consists of both Flexibility and Scalability features from Ajax and Blog. This project will define a Web 2.0 online platform – Ajax Blog to help primary students to improve their writing skill. In this online platform, most of the web elements will fulfill the web accessibility features, the primary students enjoy learning from this user friendly web site. Ajax Blog will provide a neat web design to carry out a fire-new user experiences. The Ajax Blog will study technical issues behind AJAX, AJAX Frameworks and investigate different functionalities of Blog system such as design new plug-in, components and modules etc. Moreover, under the Web 2.0 platform, the open source Web architectures, applications and XHTML/CSS technologies should be utilized in this project. |
