People would like to spend their holiday in different ways. Travelling with packages is one of the popular holiday activities. However, communication in foreign languages is a basis for free independent travellers. Due to the language barrier, for example, the road sign in that country may not help the tourist much to find the right way. In tradition, using dictionary is the only solution. However, bringing a dictionary is inconvenient, so it would be nice to have a portable dictionary in small size. Therefore, developing a system to solve the problem in some popular used devices, likes mobile phones, is important. Nevertheless, one of the limitations of the mobile phone is not common to install applications, or only small memory size applications can be installed. The objective of this project is to implement a system which can facilitate people in optical image's translation. With such system, they can easily know the words around them by even standalone, likes hiking. Travellers can just need to send the photo with optical words in a Multimedia Message Service (MMS) message and the translation result in a Short Message Service (SMS) message would automatically received by using their mobile phone. And no application needed to be installed in the mobile phone.en
