Abstract: | Despite of the high popularity of Sudoku, most people are unaware of the effect that it may help developing logical mind. In this project, we proposed an Intelligent Tutoring System(ITS) that helping students to learn logics by solving Sudoku puzzles. In contrast with most of the Sudoku applications, our Intelligence Tutor capable to instruct students the deductive inferences used to solve Sudoku puzzles. To achieve this, the expert model of our ITS contains deductive rules used to uncover each cell value and also the solution of that cell. More than that, students are able to setup their learning focus by prioritizing those deductive rules. Based on the new priority, our ITS will construct a different strategy to solve the Sudoku. Then, different instructions will be provided for the students. The architecture of the system and a discussion of the functionalities of each models were presented. To conclude, we evaluated on the benefit gained by the student regarding on logical skills under the instruction of ITS. |
