Abstract: | A micro-controller based wireless monitoring and controlling system has been designed and implemented. The system consists of a single core station and 5 remote stations, communicated by RF (Radio Frequency) in broadcast half-duplex mode. Users can make use of the core station to control various remote stations, such as on/off a device or read the value of a remote sensor. The core station can work in stand-alone mode or controlled by a personal computer. “Stop and wait protocol” is applied to any of two stations, besides, a “Multi-step relaying protocol” is used on the whole system so that the communication range of any station is extended. |
