|Abstract:||Logic is just so important in our life. However, it always works at the back so that most people do not aware of the important of logic and logical training. Picross is really a good tool to help logical training. However, most people are still identifying “Picross” only as a game and ignorant of the influence that it may be able to help the user developing the logical mind. The reason is that there are only very limited resources that educating others how to play and what can the user earn from it. The aim of this project is to build an application to use solving Picross in a logical way to systemically help users to build up a logical mind and to evaluate the players’ benefits on reasoning mind development after playing Picross exercises. We will achieve this by using Intelligence Tutoring System Model. In contrast with most of the Picross applications, this project will be able to guide students the logical rules used to solve Picross problems. Therefore, an algorithm that is able to solve Picross by those logical rules is designed in order to achieve this. While the project is finished, it will be a good tool to guide user to solve the problem step by step with logical rules by providing hints. Also, it will provide immediately feedback which help user to learn from mistakes. As a result, this system will be a good environment for logical development.|
