Title: A serial port multiplexer for Palm PDA

Abstract: This project is a solution to the Palm which has only one serial port as it can let the Palm to connect to more than one device at a moment. This project will divide into several parts. Firstly, the objective and an overview of this project will be discussed. Then, this project will be divided into two main parts, Hardware Design and Palm Programming, which can be further divided into four subtitles: Keyboard Format Converter, RS-232 Voltage Level Converter, Serial Port Multiplexer and Palm OS Programming. Each part of the Hardware Design and Palm OS Programming will be explained in detail. After that, overall results of the hardware and software parts will be discussed.
