| Abstract: | The aim of the project is to simulate a multi-channel Pure ALOHA system constructed in C programming language. In addition, different traffic models including M/D/K, M/M/K and M/G/K are simulated in Pure ALOHA System. Comparisons among the three traffic models are made in terms of the performance in collision probability, throughput and channel utilization. Moreover, minimum number of channels required to limit collision probability under a low level are investigated in different traffic models. Finally, simulation results will be compared with mathematical analysis to find out whether they coincide with each other or not. |
