| Abstract: | I propose to use web-based programmed learning to help students prepare for practical classes. Students are asked a series of multiple-choice questions. If a correct answer is given, students move on to another page with more information to learn and more questions to answer. An incorrect answer leads to comments on why the answer is incorrect and back to the original question for another selection. This exercise will allow students to learn, in their own pace, the background and principles of a practical class before coming to the lab, so that they maximize their learning during the experiment. |
