dc.description.abstract | In today’s business environment, most of the companies that were currently under development afford some types of data access. As increasing numbers of developers adopted the client/server model as the basis for their applications, the choice of servers and the architecture of servers became much more important to the overall success of enterprise-wide computing. In addition, as more businesses depend increasingly on technology to bring users and information together, to streamline processes, and to decentralize decision-making, distributed client/server computing provided the necessary connection between data and informed business decisions. In order to assemble and analyze the information from different areas, database should be built. A database was a collection of information organized in such a way that a computer program can quickly select desired pieces of data. We can think of a database as an electronic filing system, or a phone book. Moreover, a computer database can be put up on the World Wide Web for data retrieval. | en_US |
