There are many systems that allow multiple users to be multiplexed over the same physical channel. Multi-rate multi-service systems involve customers of different types with different requirements for service and different statistical characteristics. In this project, a simulation of a general multi-service multi-rate circuit switched network is conducted to obtain the blocking probabilities of different classes of services. The results include confidence intervals. Different data sets are used to evaluate the network performanc. The optimal distribution of traffic loads and their network design and dimensioning implications are discussed based on the simulation and evaluation.en_US
