| Abstract: | This project discusses how to develop a networking application in Embedded FPGA system,
associated with the Xilinx MicroBlaze soft processor. To develop an Embedded FPGA system, it is
required to establish both hardware and software. This project focuses on the Xilinx FPGA
Embedded System development understanding and software application development.
This project uses 2 different development boards (Spartan 3E & Virtex 5) and a Embedded
system Development Kits. Two different development boards are used in the project due to different
designs. In this project, application can send and receive a raw data frame in order to establish a raw
communication channel in two identical boards. The application can also transmit and receive a
TCP data stream. During software application development, the software was found the sub product
that it can help the FPGA system developer to capture data instead of Logic Analyzer to analyze the
system performance. |
