Feng Shui is based on the rules of both Heaven (astronomy) and Earth (geography). It is because people will hold the belief which they can collect some positive "Qi" (氣) from the natural environment. And they would benefit from these kinds of positive "Qi" (氣). Feng Shui is widely accepted and used in Chinese community especially in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Many Chinese people would design their apartments, houses or offices according to the theories of Feng Shui. By using different Feng Shui theories, some auspicious and inauspicious positions can be located according to different nature of the house. This project will focus on developing a user-friendly Feng Shui compass by using new technology of mobile phone. A Smart Feng Shui compass can be produced by combining the modern technology with traditional Chinese values in Feng Shui.en_US
