|Abstract: ||Nowadays, there is increasing number of files stored in our computer. As it become more and more difficult to retrieve files, one can classify their files by putting them into folders. However, some files are not only presence in only one context. Therefore, a hierarchal structure of folders is not suitable for categorization. An alternative approach is to assign text labels to file (Tagging). Nevertheless, it is difficult to search files with tags when there is a great amount of tags. The aim of this project is to provide a novel file organization approach which is based on tag for personal files on a personal computer without changing existing file system and provide a new navigation approach with Directed-Acyclic Graph of Tags (DAGoT) which gives user a sense of completeness of managed files.
In this report, the project methodology and implementation will be described. First, the construction and update method of DAGoT and modified DAGoT will be described. The steps of computing tag suggestion. Second, the implementation of the system will be described. Third, evaluation of this project will be described. Finally, conclusion of this project will be described.|
