| Abstract: | In-Home-display is a part of component in home automation system. Zigbee protocol also support In home display device. The function of In-home-display not only receives the data from the serve (ESI), it also displays the instant energy usage and stores the energy usage.
The development of In-Home-Display project has two members. My partner is focus on the Zigbee protocol programming development. I am focus on the hardware and firmware development of In-Home-Display.
The hardware consists of Mid-range MCU (ATxmega), Zigbee module, LCD display and external flash ram.
First, I understand the specification of MCU and Zigbee module. Second, hardware and firmware were developed. And capacitance touch buttons are considered. In the result of the project, the device can display the power usage, network information and history data usage. And the communication protocol of In home display is under ZIGBEE. |
