|Abstract: ||In today’s would, smart phones become an essential tool of most people. In the past, we focused on the functions of making calls and sending SMS when choosing a cell phone. But today, the most popular functions of mobile phones have slightly moved in a different area. One of mains that we focused on is the development of mobile applications.
The purpose of this project is to use modern method to introduce tradition Chinese culture. A mobile application on Android platform is developed for introducing traditional Chinese medicines using advance multimedia and interactive interface design. Also, we take this opportunity to realize what a real e-book should be in the coming future. We believe a real e-book is a mobile app with interactive features, like searching and bookmarking, instead of a file. Smart Traditional Chinese Medicine App not only provides information, it is an electronic doctor. Users can find the herbs and formulas which are suitable for their constitutions. It can also help users to diagnose by analyzing the symptoms by themselves. Everyone can be an expert in traditional Chinese medicine theory.|
