This project was based on Zigbee Smart Energy Standard and attached to Mobileden Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd. It developed an in-home display in the home automation network, which cooperated with metering devices, energy service portal. Each device had its own characteristic and duty to achieve a powerful eco-friendly system. Since energy saving had become a current issue nowadays, it was convenient for customers to view the energy usage and consumption whenever and wherever they want. In order to develop this device, we had read the datasheet, focused on developing firmware on Atmel microcontroller, and designed a user interface shown on the LCD display. Within the network, the in-home display device could be used efficiently to check the gas, water and electricity consumption level everywhere, as the Zigbee module inside supported an efficient and reliable wireless communication by processing AT command.en_US
