Abstract

There are various types of public transport in Hong Kong which provide a safe environment and a satiable service to the residents. Although there are so many types of public transport, only Taxi provides urgent and customized service with private environment for the passengers. Most of the taxi drivers join the taxi center in order to carry more passengers and get the latest news on the road. However, those services are not free, they need to pay extra payment to the taxi center. If taxi drivers do not join service, they need to find the passenger by themselves. In the high competition in taxi industry, it is not an easy job. On the other hand, some passengers find that it is very different to find the taxi sometime. Therefore, 'CallTaxiChan' project aims to improve this situation.
