The principle objective of this project is to provide an online platform for teacher to analyze student's response and question's quality based on Student-Problem(S-P) Curve Theory. The most important reference for teacher to estimate the ability of students are mainly come from the response of a test or exam. However, total score of a test cannot represent the 'real' ability of a student. For example, student with high ability maybe get a low mark because of careless, student with low ability maybe get a high mark because of luck. S-P Theory is then designed for providing a statistical reference for teacher to identify student's ability and question's quality by the item response pattern. The Theory gives out two indexes including student caution index and item caution index. By comparing the two indexes with the performance of students and questions, students and questions can be differentiate into different region. This project is to design a web based application and implement the S-P Theory based on client server model. When teachers provide the item response of a test, the program will generate the S-P chart which is used to distinguish students and questions into different regions based on the index calculated.en_US
