dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to provide a knowledge management study report of a Chinese Medical Clinic, Traditional Chinese Medicine Village Group ("TCM Village"), in which to demonstrate that how knowledge management could help in such organization. TCM Village is a professional Chinese medicine organization providing outpatient services for five branches in Hong Kong. It aims to bring together the elites of the Chinese medicine field in Hong Kong so as to promote the advantages of the Chinese medicine around the world. However, TCM Village is working in a paper based environment, therefore it has potential risks of losing the medical records of patient and difficulties on sharing clinical practice among physicians between branches. In this paper, our team has identified the knowledge management challenges faced by the group among five branches. By applying a series of knowledge management methodologies, our group was able to determine the desired knowledge management processes as well as its infrastructure to facilitate the current situation. After retrieving the assessment result, the paper has also provided some recommendations on how to implement KM processes and technologies to achieve the desired KM processes. | en_US |
