dc.description.abstract | Four of the most important considerations in helping the old people who are living alone are: (1) real‐time activities monitoring of the elderly due to analysis the activities in their daily lives; (2) fall detection of elderly so as to minimize the risk in emergency situation; (3) the family members or carers can review the activities and provide the help based on their habits; (4) reminder for reminding the elderly that the tasks they need to do. Therefore, the smart elderly healthcare system that puts a pervasive computing technology with contextual‐aware and network connection to get rid of common accident at living room like fall detection and record the daily life of the elderly. It combines mobile application and motion capture technology to provide elderly an intelligent and comfortable living environment. This project is divided into two parts, 1. Smart elderly healthcare system including real‐time monitoring and analyzing motion at home using Kinect 2. Mobile Android application for browsing the daily activities of elderly Those system design and implementation related to this system would be discussed in this paper. | en_US |
