Information system for JCITPS

Abstract

Due to the latest technologies and rapidly changing market trends, every established organization is making real good feasibilities to step towards new trends of I.T. industry. Various national, multinational, non-governmental and private organizations are shifting to the new I.T. practices especially Content Management System (CMS). CMS is one of the leading products of the I.T. sector regarding the web-application area. Junior Chamber International Tai Ping Shan (JCITPS) believed that the existing solution could not handle the continuous development, so they hoped to replace it by developing a web-based smart Content Management System to integrate to the redesigned official website, which can actually work as a dynamic website. The proposed system depicts a professional image of the organization because it offers a complete range of rights based services ranging from up-gradation of exiting pages to the creation of new customizable pages and computerizes some manual operations in order to let users have an effective and efficiency usages. In addition, this project aims for living up the user realistic expectation, and extract useful information from the system to transform them into understandable structure for system user further usages. Therefore, the project deliverables will cover the investigation about user’s expectations with system, and the studies of information processing.
