| Abstract: | To explain a movement in Digital Humanities toward understanding the constraints and affordances of a ubiquitous computing environment wherein bodies, machines and texts interact and overlap. Since the English Department at City University is developing a new, innovative course entitled, "Digital Humanities in English Studies"—an initiative led by the PI for this grant—it seems appropriate to participate in this conversation about interactivity and to use such body-text engagements in the new course at City University. |
