dc.description.abstract | The project aims to establish an applied innovative design methodology in the framework of Sustainability, through embedding 1:1 scaled industrial production, its development through CAD/CAM systems, catalogue and documentation. As such the project engages students in real life design and manufacturing process of prototypes. Subsequently, a web-platform promotes the students' works and leads to IP and knowledge transfer through designs that are developed for CNC cutting of sheet material such as plywood. The outcome is a continuous growing platform of realised design projects in the area of CNC optimised translations from analogue, hand-crafted paper based artefacts to digital designs. | en_US |
