dc.description.abstract | This project is going to create a Song and compose Cantonese lyrics application, by studying the difficulties of composing lyrics and the structure of Cantonese. The aims of this project are to assist people who are weak in composing music and lyrics, assist the user to fill in lyrics with same final consonants for each of the music phrases. Also, this tool is to avoid people filling in lyrics with wrong Cantonese tone which altered the meaning of the words and the feeling of the song. It helps the music-lovers who are not familiar with composing lyrics to experience the editing of a song. The tool can be effectively shorten the composing time by recommending a suitable word to the music phrases. This tool is a web-based application, which is developed using HTML, PHP, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL, Bootstrap and etc. It supports music note visualization, Cantonese tone and Music tone matching, final-consonants matching, and relevant vocabulary suggestion. Meanwhile, in this project, structure of Cantonese, characteristic of Cantonese character, pronunciation, final consonant, feature of Cantonese pop-song, user interface design are being studied. The report would firstly introduce the background information, project objective and scope. After that, there will be the literature review part, which I will explain why fill in lyrics is difficult and how lyrics composer fills in the lyrics, how final consonants works in lyrics, how music can be visualize, what is the difference between visual and audio form of music representation and the limitation of the above mentioned issues. After the literature review, it will be the design and solution part. Designed algorithms, user interface design, use cases and sequence diagrams will be included in this part. Next part is the implementation section. Detailed structure and application interface will be shown in this part. After that, will be the system testing part. I will fill in lyrics with the existing song to test the system ability. Finally, it is the conclusion part. | en_US |
