|Abstract:||Mobile phone now is a essential tools for everyone. For instance, booking a hotel room for traveling, checking new product for shopping or finding restaurant for celebration, people would like to solve these through smartphones. Due to the heavy demand of mobile device usage, customer would hope to have latest information or real time interaction between groups with the same interests. Update of latest and correct information is a time-consuming and complicated task. Refresh each small retail stores is a practical example and potential problem which should be addressed in Hong Kong. Due to geographic factors and economic reason, many entrepreneurs turned to upper floor premises to maintain their business. Addressing their goods and providing their target customers with essential data, an application can enhance the popularity for the shops. Podium is a mobile application specifically to response for that. As an upper floor shop owner, you would like to have a software application to help promoting your goods or services to your target customer. A free mobile application that keeps users feelings, comments and interests just for upper floor shops would match your marketing strategy. As a customer, you may have a challenge to find nearby upper floor shops even using Google Map services. Moreover, you may never find a community for sharing those shop details. To solve these existing problems, Podium, a location based mobile application for upper-floor shops is developed. Customers not only can bookmark and comment on their favorite shops but also keep track on other users by following them. Moreover, customer can find nearby upper floor shops while using this application. Podium use customer resources to guest estimate their interest and rate every existing upper floor shop in Hong Kong. This project intend at providing a native iOS application for user with reliability and usability. This application targets on iOS platform. By using Podium, users are able to save their upper-floor shop data and share tips to others. Also, they can keep checking the latest shops, products and promotions that they are interested.|
