Abstract

Living in the age of smartphones, there are many ways we can do to enjoy the world-wide music. By using the smartphones, songs can be played directly from the streaming media such as YouTube, can be imported from computers, and can also be downloaded from some music application. Songs can be played anywhere and anytime by our smartphones. However, even we create the playlist for storing the favor songs, we sometimes want to listen to the particular mood of the songs. Sadly, just a minority of the music applications on the market platforms provide this kind of the function. However, even they do provide this function, the accuracy of classifying the mood is not good enough. Intelligent Music Application is an Android application that provides not only the functions the standard music application should have provided, but also it can determine the mood each song belongs to. The users can select the favor mood at that moment, and the songs belong to that mood will be shortlisted.
