As the high population of mobile devices and rapid development of mobile technologies, mobile learning becomes one of the big topics in education. In recent years, many educational institutions will make the course materials accessible in mobile devices. PowerPoint slides of lectures, PDF of supplementary materials and photos of hand-writing notes are the common and even the only learning materials for the undergraduates nowadays. However, these files are ineffective for cooperative learning and may not be easy to be organized well. So, an eBook authoring system can be developed to help students to merge all of their PPT, images and PDF to an eBook file. Students can discuss with others by annotating in the eBook directly. It enhances mobile learning by facilitating students to use the eBook anytime and anywhere. This project will implement an Android application which allows users to merge, scan, share, view and annotate learning materials in one place easily. The paper documents can be scanned by using phone camera. Images, PPT and PDF can be merged to form a single PDF file. The PDF can be annotated and shared.en_US
