According to a recent survey about the purchasing behavior of customers, it is found that most people spent too much time in grocery shopping. People worry about food safety, their health conditions and financial needs, and so they would spend more time to consider different kinds of factors about the products, especially the choices of brand, the amount of nutrient values and the prices of products, before making their payments in the grocery stores. It is significant to improve the situation because grocery shopping is closely related to our daily lives. Concerning the problem of overtime grocery shopping, this project aims to develop a cross-platform mobile application for location-based product reviews. The final product of the project, Smart, put emphasis on the factors affecting customer buying decisions and achieve the project objectives which include shortening customer buying decision time, helping them to plan for their healthy diets, identifying products that contains allergens and finding out the cheapest and nearest products among different store locations. In the system, not only can the users browse for the detailed information of different products but also give comments and likes, view and update prices from different stores, and share them to relatives and friends. Furthermore, they are able to perform search for the desired products and post new products to the system. With the use of pie charts and graphs, the differences and similarities over the nutrition facts between several products can be identified easily.en_US
