Abstract: | This project's key creation is a law portal, containing a wide variety of multimedia resources to assist and support students new to studying law at University. There are two key components the investigators look to undertake as part of this immediate project. They are 1. Skills area focused on legal writing 2. Skills area focused on plagiarism 3. The investigators will develop individual learning resources in the above skill areas so that students have a collection of tailored online tools to help them build on their skills independently, 24 hours a day. These tools will be a mix of media - films, talking slideshows and written pieces in order to engage students in both senses - visual and aural. Although there are two components proposed, this portal has the potential to be developed further in the coming years. In other words, the portal can be expanded into other areas of skills development for students such as research and revision. |
