dc.description.abstract | E-book is a digital version of book-length publication, which is composed of various kind of text and multimedia. As an environmental friendly product, e-book is getting more and more popular. E-book is also taking an important role in education. As Vasileiou mention in 2009, "More specifically, 60.1% of the academic population of 127 higher education institutions in the UK use e-books for their scholarly work rather than for leisure." (Vasileiou, 2009) It is not talking about the environmental friendly, but the interest of learning knowledge of students, especially for secondary students. Compare to e-book, paper book is too dull with only texts and images. What is more, the animation will help students more understand the knowledge. To raise the interest of secondary students to learn about Mathematics, this project is in order to develop the e-book of symmetry knowledge in interaction way. Students can learn Mathematics with animation and draw symmetry with fun. The website is mainly developed using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. To improve animation and interactive teaching methods, some JavaScript libraries are used in this project. This project aim to bring an innovative learning environment to students to learn about Symmetry in Mathematics. | en_US |
