dc.description.abstract | For some undeveloped areas that are not able to receive electricity supply from the electrical grid, solar energy is one of the possible power sources for the residents. The solar energy collected by the solar panels will be stored in the batteries connected. For the batteries located in rural areas, it would be inconvenient and time consuming for the company in charge of battery maintenance to access the batteries frequently for status monitoring. In order to solve this problem, an IoT software is developed in this project. The software is able to provide a wireless link to transmit the data collected from the battery, storing these data to a database for data management and provide an application for the maintenance company to monitor the status data. | en_US |
