A Matchmaking platform for CityU and NGO

Abstract

The objective of the report is to introduce the structure of a web page "City Volunteer" and how the system make matching between the City U students and NGO which can help the students to find the volunteer jobs they interested in and can help the NGO to find the students who are more suitable for the volunteer activities. By investigating the ways of letting City U students to find volunteer activities conveniently, the "City Volunteer" would like to be proposed an All-in-one platform which can link up the numerous NGO and City U volunteer to let the volunteer service providers communicate better. Different NGO can post volunteer activities on the web page to let students to apply. Considering the non-technical people, the system provides an easy user-interface for the City U administration to edit the web page such as change words, photo in the home page and manage the NGO and students' information and account. The following sections will include the function's description, system analysis (methodology, develop tools, system architecture), and the implementation (test results).
