dc.description.abstract | Drawing on a recent wave of student suicides in Hong Kong, this paper offers a critical account of the social currents of Hong Kong by focusing on the socioemotional foundation of fatalistic-egotism suicide and individual concerns. Meanwhile, using the case study of Hong Kong, this paper also discovers the loopholes of Durkheim’s model and argues that the study of psychology or psychopathy should incorporate into the context of the social currents. | en_US |
