Knowledge management assessment of Lenovo supply chain

Abstract

Lenovo is a multinational company aiming at providing services for digital devices. This paper concentrates on the improvement of the internal knowledge management solutions of Lenovo’s supply chain department. Since Lenovo is quite large-scaled, the team members carrying out this assessment and implementation plan focus on the purchasing sub-process among all the processes included in the supply chain. The team members find some deficiencies of the knowledge management process in Lenovo supply chain department during the procedure of assessment and come up with a implementation plan of both IT based and Non-IT based solutions to the situation, which are planned in detail and completed smoothly.
