Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a chronic degenerative disorder. The cause of parkionson’s disease is the degeneration in central nervous system (CNS), which will affect their motor system and case out the signs including tremor, Parkinsonian gait and Freezing of Gait (FOG). Parkinsonian gait, is the gait found in PD patients, which include shuffling steps, slowness of movement, Freezing of Gait (FOG) and Falls. Freezing of Gait (FOG) will be disturbed the gait. When it is episodes, patients will be unable to continue the walking, and the falling risk will be increase. An intelligent glasses and a mobile application for PD patients have been designed in this project. Through the concept of Augmented Reality (AR) and Buzzer, visual cueing and auditory cueing will be provided in this auxiliary device for solving the problem of freezing of gait and parkinsonian gait. The mobile application can connect with the device via Bluetooth, which can used to control the setting of the device and provide the safety feedback feature to PD patients. The major aim of the device is to recover the walking ability of PD patient to a nearly normal individual walking level, thereby to increase their quality of life.en_US
