dc.description.abstract | I am interested in this topic because I have been in contact with the maze in different media since I was a child. Whether it is in paper or in architecture, I have been impulsive to answer every time I see a maze from an early age. Until recently, I had a strong interest in the structure of the maze, such as the algorithm used by the maze and how to use different graphics to express the maze, especially the artistic maze of images. So, I chose "Image based maze" as my final year project topic. The project aimed to change an image to a maze. All mazes are constructed according to graph theory. The structure of the maze can be expressed by Graph, and in order to make the maze more prominently highlight the characteristics of the original image, such as the shape of the image, image processing is an indispensable element, so graph Theory and image processing are the main factors to constitute image-based maze. The image maze program provides a simple interface for the user to feel the customization of the program. The user can choose which image to change into a labyrinth. The density and size of the maze are controlled by the user through the input, and the thickness of the maze can be selected by user, according to the result to select the thickness of the line to highlight the characteristics of the original image, so that the result is more like the original image. The program is mainly using MATLAB as platform when MATLAB is a tool which good at image processing and performing well on figure, and the maze is mainly composed by figures, therefore MATLAB is selected. | en_US |
