dc.description.abstract | Printed millimeter-wave antenna design is investigated for new wireless application. Nowadays, Reliable coverage, high data rate and low latency are crucial to ensure the good experience. Millimeter wave would be applied in different application to carry a massive amount of data packet at a very high speed with low latency. In this project, a printed millimeter wave antenna is designed. The single element covers a bandwidth of 16.45% from 53 to 62.5 GHz with average gain of 7dB. Based on the single element, 2X2 array have been designed and measured. The array element covers a bandwidth of 13.4% from 56.9 to 65.1 GHz unlicensed high frequency band with an average gain 13.0895 dB. With the advantages of convenience of fabrication and low cost. It can demonstrate that the design could be used for future wireless applications, for instance, VR/AR, hand gesture recognition, medical purpose etc. | en_US |
