dc.description.abstract | This final year project proposes a new design of antenna array for the fifth-generation mobile communication coming in the future. The proposed antenna is a reconfigurable Vivaldi antenna array with beam steering function for mobile devices. The proposed antenna will be operating at frequency range of 27.5 - 28.5 GHz which is the possible frequency range of the future fifth generation cellular communication. The fourth-generation cellular communication system are having the problem of low data rate, high energy loss and limited bandwidth. The new designed antenna tackle the issue of the current fourth generation cellular communication. The proposed antenna is designed and simulated by using ANSYS High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). | en_US |
