Abstract: | This paper provides an overview of a transparent CPW-fed antenna, which is designed for the Internet of Things network for the parking meter. The parking meter is one of the most common facilities on the street; those parking meters are mostly made with metal for durability. The design will be a CPW open-slot antenna which operate at 2.4GHz to 2.5 GHz which is the ISM band for wireless communication, for example, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee. The design of the antenna aims at a transparent, low profile, light-weight and easy to fabricate, which the antenna will fabricate at a glass substrate and made with transparent conduction material: ITO film. The antenna design and optimization analyzed with the 3D electromagnetic simulation software: ANSYS HFSS and the antenna will finally be fabricated and tested, the result will be shown at the following parts of this report. |
