Abstract: | Information technology had to become a part of our life, especially in business, this technology playing an important role in every commercial system. For this reason, the security of information system becomes much more important. However, if we talk about the security of information system, then we can't ignore the backbone of the information system, which is network infrastructure devices, those devices playing the important role in every information system infrastructure. Since any computer connecting to the network can communicate with these devices by running appropriate software or program. So, hackers can attack those devices by pretending as one of the network infrastructure devices, such as switch and router. One of the reasons to make these attacks become possible is that there is no complete authentication mechanism in our network device, so in this project, we would use Blockchain to provide an authentication mechanism in order to avoid this attack. Since Blockchain technology is extremely difficult to malicious tempering, if we could use Blockchain, and combine with our proposed protocol, it may be complete to prevent the hackers attack our network infrastructure using the un-authentication network infrastructure device. |
