Abstract: | This project is to Improvement a prototype of the Visible Light Communication Positioning System (VLCPS). This project based on the previous design of the VLCPS to redesign the architecture make the entire system become more robustness. This project aims to enhance the design and supplement the shortage of the previous. The hardware and software are both included. For the positioning, this system will use the LEDs as a transmitter, photodiodes as a receiver using the brightness to calculate the location. The reference station was used to support the positioning system. It would define the origin point of positioning. In this project, I have created different algorithm to improve the shortage of the previous project. The data validation algorithm was created to perceive the signal whether correct. The differential algorithm was created to eliminate the deviation of position, to make the system become more practical. To make the robot can be applied in a real situation, the approximate shortest path algorithm was designed. It was combined A* algorithm and genetic algorithm for finding the approximate shortest path in an environment full of obstacles and address the TSP problem. Azure cloud platform was used in this project to provide the 27/7 service for the device, it can store all the data in Azure Blob storage and tack different action. Azure, raspberry pi was used in this project to reserves space for future development. I use modularization concept to implement this project to reduce the coupling. |
